Ethnographic studies
Etudes ethnographiques
We can shadow the participants when commuting, as we did in this study for a mobile application.

We organise ethnographic studies in France: home visits, workplace visits, diaries, interviews.

The results we can deliver:

Puce User segmentation: Usage contexts, user goals. Personas.
Puce Critical use-case scenarios.
Puce Mind maps.
Puce User requirements.

We can translate in English the conversation with the participant, as it is going on.
We can also deliver full transcripts of the interviews in English in a written document.

Innovation
Etudes ethnographiques
Does this way to share information on a fridge door look friendly?

We also look at it as a latent need which may be a business opportunity.
By observing potential users, we identify their needs and requirements.

From there, we can create storyboards of potential usages, define functional specifications and design mock-ups of new services.

Touchscreen interfaces
puce What kind of gestures are spontaneously used to perform actions on a touchscreen interface?
The IUP is running a study with several hundreds of participants in 5 countries (United-States, China, Germany, United Kingdom, France).
Objective : identify and understand cultural differences, and assess their impact on touchscreen interface design.
